I had read the author's previous book - It's Not a Match - about his trials in online dating and really enjoyed his sense of humor and wry wit so figured I would give this one a try too. I actually enjoyed this one even more: just a great, quick and funny read for everyone (although I suspect anyone who has battled their weight as adolescent will find it particularly poignant) but it is really enjoyable for anyone. I definitely laughed out loud more than a few times and flew through the book in one sitting.Product details

Every overweight person can completely relate to this and any other regular person will enjoy this short read.
It's short and simple funny tale.
Cleverly written and funny. Author did a great job describing his younger life as a kid growing up overweight. I like his style.

Fat or not growing up you can relate to this story. Well written and absolutely funny. Buy and read. You won't regret it
I saw this book on my recommendations and I'm very happy I bought it. There were parts I had to put the book down because I was laughing too hard.
I laughed a lot through the first part of this book. It was incredibly funny but for some reason as I neared the end I started to notice mistakes. It was almost as if Mr. Donovan just wanted to get the book done. It was also one of those books where you are laughing but you are not quite sure you should be.
I actually wish that this were more than a kindle single - it was entertaining enough that I laughed out loud several times. I connected with so many of his experiences and feelings. But it just kind of...ended. I would have liked more detail on how he lost the weight, got a girlfriend...but he finished with a memorable event that didn't really provide enough closure for me.
