I love Naomi Rawlings books and Loves Winter Hope did not disappoint me. This is a story about love lost and then found. It is also about stubbornness and self doubt. I read this book all night because I couldn't put it down. The ending is predictable but the twists and turns and unexpected happenings kept me turning pages. The main characters are Christians but there are questions pondered and answered. I love when a brook can incoporate God's word into a novel that is so characteristic of normal human behavior. The characters are real and interesting. I also enjoy the fact that other characters from the past books are present and are given the job to "help" the newer members of the book see the truth as they see it. It reminds me of Jobs friends. Their friends are all well meaning but it is when the main characters of the book decide to put their trust in God instead of their own ideas that things turn out as intended. Even though the ending was predictable I was actually surprised at the way the book ended in the epilogue. I was not expecting the outcome!I was given a copy of this book with the hope of giving an unbiased and fair review.

Great author with good story-telling skills.
I received the first book in this series at a give-away, and I loved it so much, I ended up buying the entire series! Great writing by Naomi Rawlings! She really makes the characters come alive! I highly recommend this series!
Except the Lord build the house, they that labor, labor in vain. I love this series, the characters are so real and engaging! The way intrigue is softly woven into a story on more than one point so that it take a long while to figure out what's afoot and who exactly is involved. Great stuff!
I would have probably been very cautious about letting a husband who had been absent for five years back in my life also, but I could tell by Thomas' reactions and his heart that he was not going to do this to Jessalyn and his girls again. Such a heart warming story to see how God shows Jessalyn how she too was wrong!
I loved every book in this series thus far and find it impossible to name a favorite but this one is close! Fabulous, intriguing, mysterious, romantic, and just plain fun! Thank you Naomi Rawlings for this wonderful book and series! I hope it doesn't end after Isaac and Aileen's story! ❤
I have not wanted to put this book down. It's #5 in a series by this author. Her character development and story line is very good. Not the typical romances from the author I usually read, but these are good nonetheless. It is set back in the late 1800's so I'm learning a little history on how relationships developed back then. Too bad we as a society don't still hold our youth to those standards.I have enjoyed the book to the point where I am reading more than doing the things I really should be working on instead.
Love’s Winter Hope features another cozy plot with two new and interesting protagonists who must work through past failures, mistakes, and malicious connivers. Favorite characters from previous Eagle Harbor titles weave in and out of this tale providing interesting depth and the seeds of love stories to come. The theme of forgiveness, reconciliation, and trust in God to build the house also make Love’s Winter Hope an inspirational and uplifting read.
